Up Close Experience

A Unique Experience that offers visitors a chance to get up-close to some of our most popular animals.

These Experiences are great for getting up-close and hands-on with the animals, making a visit to Camperdown Wildlife Centre extra special and even more memorable.

Your Up- Close Experience will include going behind the scenes of an animal enclosure, coming face to face with animals, complimentary drink and cake in Camperdown Café and the opportunity to ask our Keepers any questions you may have.

Up-Close Experience is only available to people over the age of 8 years of age who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if under 18. Guest will be unable to take part if they have relevant phobias or known allergies. Up-close Experience session last for approximately 50 minutes. During this time, you will have an opportunity to get up close with one of the following animals.

• European Brown bear (seasonal)
• Primates: i.e. Gibbons, Lemurs

Sensible footwear is required as the paths to some enclosures are uneven. Please wear comfortable and preferably old clothing. Please bring waterproof clothing as the experience will still take place if the weather is inclement.

Arrive at 11am at Reception Area where a Keeper will greet you.

Cost

• The up-close Experience cost £70 per person or why not add an addition person as a plus one for £110.

The Up-close Experience make a wonderful gift and is available as a gift token that is valid for up to 12 months.
